Tech Away Features
Technical Interventions via the App
Manage technical interventions from Smartphone and Tablet, iOS, and Android. The technician can manage appointments, view completed and scheduled interventions on the calendar, geolocate clients on the map, manage, and create technical interventions complete with all information.
Management from Web Back Office
Interventions directed to technicians are scheduled through the web back office by the management user or received directly from the company management system. The manager can configure various functionalities, including:
- Client data and technician data
- Destination
- Date, time, appointment details
- Periodic and scheduled interventions
- Machines to be serviced
- Serial numbers
- Types of interventions
- Spare parts and documents
Reports on the Go
Create and send reports from mobile devices. The technician can complete and send the report in just a few clicks from Smartphone and Tablet, even offline, indicating:
- Work performed and on which machine/system
- The client receiving the report with the status of their request
- Start and end times of the work
- Kilometers traveled
- Costs
- Outcome of the intervention (completed or not completed)
The company immediately receives the complete report with these details. Once the report is sent, the intervention is marked as closed and available for viewing only.
Report Signature
The report can be digitally signed by the client right away with a digital approval signature on the tablet or smartphone.
Intervention List
View all reports sent by the technician, organized by client. Each can be opened in detail view with all data available in read-only mode.
User Management
The manager has access to the web control panel (back office) where they can create new technician accounts and activate/deactivate usage licenses.
Calendar and Map
View the calendar of technical interventions and their status. Display as a list or map based on client geolocation. The calendar can have monthly, weekly, or daily views (with technician list and intervention schedule). Interventions are identified with three colors: yellow (new), blue (assigned but not completed), green (completed).
Scheduled interventions
Technicians can enter the due date for a new scheduled maintenance, remove or add machines. Alerts can be set for recurring activities, and maintenance can be managed from a single point.
Multi-Technician Intervention Management
Each intervention is associated with a lead technician, who can indicate any additional technicians present when filling out the report. Additional technicians can view their list of interventions but cannot send reports.
Multi-Day Interventions Management
Manage reports for interventions spanning multiple days. The technician can specify individual days worked and for each day indicate:
- Collaborating technicians
- Labor hours
- Travel expenses
- Kilometers traveled
- Call-out fees
These entries contribute to the total costs indicated at the bottom of the report.
Intervention Types Management
From the back office, a dynamic list of intervention types can be defined, which may include specific discount conditions. For each type, besides indicating a name, a discount percentage (from 0 to 100) can be set to apply to individual cost items (spare parts, labor, travel costs, call-out fees, etc.). This allows for tailored intervention types such as “under warranty,” “under contract,” etc., based on company needs.
Data Management
Through the back office, you can manage data: users, clients, locations, machine and spare part manufacturers, serial numbers, machine types, machines, and spare parts.
Intervention Cost
The report can specify the cost of the intervention, which includes:
- Labor cost
- Spare parts cost
- Call-out cost
- Travel cost
Price and Discount Management
Prices and discounts can be manually entered by technicians or automatically pre-filled by the system based on base or custom price lists for each client. Up to three discounts can be applied. Costs include labor, spare parts, call-out, and travel costs.
Intervention Alerts and Planning
The system sends alert emails when approaching a deadline related to machines/spare parts for a client. All deadlines for the current month can also be viewed.
Statistics and Reports
Access statistics and reports related to appointments, interventions, and all activities performed by the technical intervention team. This Business Intelligence tool allows analysis and improvement of installation and maintenance efficiency, with forecasting for cost definition.
Maximum Security
The application ensures maximum data security and confidentiality through login mechanisms essential for downloading data and operating the app. All data is saved through cloud backup.
Back Office
The management web back office is accessible by a management user, allowing all necessary data for the app’s operation to be managed.
Restricted Access
Each technician accesses the app with their login credentials (Username and Password), through which they are identified and authorized to download their data. Users are manually managed via the web back office by the management user.
Additional Languages
The app is available in Italian and English.
Data Import and Export
All data can be imported and exported in CSV format, compatible with Microsoft Excel, Open Office, Numbers, and any data management software.
API integration
Access to Web API libraries is provided.
ERP Integration
The app integrates with any business management system.
Push Notifications
The system automatically notifies technicians of the assignment of a new intervention or the cancellation of an already assigned intervention with push notifications. Notifications are received even when the app is closed.
